Thirty years later, Bob has recruited a new group of musical talents including Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Chris Martin, Ed Sheeran, Bastille, Bono, One Direction and more for Band Aid 30. Together, they are helping raise money to help stop the Ebola outbreak.

The song is currently available on iTunes and Google Play

The track raised more than £1 million “within four or five minutes”, according to Geldof, who said the response had been “extraordinary”.
