Pavel Bure, former Vancouver Canucks and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee, returns to Vancouver on April 12, 2014. The Canucks greatest player ever is scheduled to appear and sign autographs when he visits the annual Vancouver Sports Collectors Show at the Croatian Cultural Centre this Saturday. It’s believed Pavel will also appear at Rogers Arena the following night for the Vancouver Canucks last 2013 – 2014 regular season game to attend Pat Quinn’s Ring of Honour presentation.
If you want to meet the Russian Rocket, this maybe your last chance to do so in Vancouver. After these two events, Pavel’s long-term commitment to the Vancouver Canucks is up in the air. He’s known to be very private and often avoids interaction with fans so an appearance like this is rare. It’s also unlikely another 1994 Canucks Alumni will be named to the Ring of Honour or have their jersey retired. If you want to meet Pavel Bure in Vancouver and get his autograph, I don’t foresee another opportunity anytime in the near future so your best chance is at this Saturday’s Vancouver Sports Collectors Show.
Only 92 VIP tickets to meet Pavel Bure are on sale now for $110 which includes a posed photo taken with you and Pavel side by side by a professional photographer and 1 autograph ticket for any item. Premium signature items cost $80 and regular signature items cost $60. Partial proceeds from the Pavel Bure signing & event is donated directly to Relay for life Canadian Cancer Society. Trevor Linden will also appear on April 11, 2014.
