Watch the New Trailer For The Interview Starring James Franco and Vancouver’s Seth Rogen

Vancouver’s own Seth Rogen brought his bromance with James Franco to the streets of our city last year to film their new movie The Interview. You can feel their love for one another in the new extended NSFW trailer.

Vancouver was used in place of North Korea when the actors were in town last November. The film production erected several monuments of the communist leader at Robson Square along with a giant green screen for post-production work.

Seth Rogen is originally from Vancouver and attended Point Grey High School. He also named his production company Point Grey Pictures and has 3 more films in development. It’s possible we may see him return to shoot one of those films here as well.

The Interview arrives in theatres on Christmas Day, 2014.

The Interview synopsis

Dave Skylark has landed the Interview of a lifetime as they head to North Korea to interview Kim Jong-un.

Release Date: 25 December 2014 (United States)
In the action-comedy The Interview, Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show “Skylark Tonight.” When they discover that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the two least-qualified men imaginable, to assassinate Kim Jong-un.
